New Articulation Agreements between Marywood and SUNY Broome
Development of articulation agreements with two-year community colleges continues to be a priority of Marywood University, as it eases the transfer process for students in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree. Marywood and SUNY Broome recently signed multiple articulation agreements to enhance this commitment to students.
In addition to facilitating an easy transfer to Marywood, it is predicted that SUNY Broome students in selected associate degree programs can earn their bachelor’s degree in two years at Marywood by following the agreements. These include: SUNY Broome’s Associate in Science: Visual Communication Arts and Marywood University’s Bachelor of Arts: Art Therapy degree; SUNY Broome’s Associate in Science: Visual Communication Arts program and Marywood University’s Bachelor of Fine Arts in Design with an emphasis in Photography, and SUNY Broome’s Visual Communication Arts and Marywood University’s Bachelor of Fine Arts with an emphasis in Graphic Design.
Marywood partners with local colleges, such as Lackawanna College and Luzerne County Community College, as well as community colleges in New York and New Jersey, to create articulation agreements that help students attain their educational goals.
For additional information on transferring credits, contact Carly Rudzinski, coordinator of prior learning assessment, at (570) 348-6266 or rudzinski@marywood.edu.
