Why have you chosen to be part of the Marywood Alumni Association Board of Directors?
I wish to share my many years of educational experience and expertise in helping to communicate the unique educational experience, opportunities and activities Marywood University has to offer students to ensure they will be successful in their careers and valued citizens in their communities.
What is your favorite memory from your time as a student at Marywood University?
Performance in all the glorious concerts !
What advice would you give a student attending Marywood?
Make the best of every moment! Study very hard so you always achieve success in your academics. Challenge yourself-do not settle for the least. Set high goals for yourself and always be confident - know you can be whatever you want to be! Choose a veered doing what you love- become an expert at it- you will be happy with your life. You will never have to say- “ I hate this job” . Loving what you do and earning a living doing it is priceless. I was so fortunate to be able to do that!
What were you involved with during your time as a student at Marywood University? (athletics, clubs, etc.)
Marywood Orchestra, Marywood Chorale; Drama Club- was invoked with the plays; St. Cecelia Music Club; MENC student chapter.
What is a fun fact about yourself?
I currently sing and play cocktail music in restaurants and do volunteer music in senior citizen centers and nursing homes.
