Amie Talarico relies on her extensive educational background to provide insight to her students on the rigors and rewards within the field of Special Education. She graduated from The University of Scranton with her BS in Elementary Education and Teaching. She later attained her MS in Special Education and Teaching as well as her K-12 Principal certification and Special Education Supervision certification from Marywood University. She has worked as the Director of Special Education for Lackawanna Trail and is an adjunct professor at Keystone College while continuing to discharge her duties as a member of the adjunct faculty at Marywood. Outside of her professional responsibilities, Talarico is presently working to attain her EdD in special education at Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania with an anticipated graduation date of 2024.
