Sarabeth George joined the teaching staff at Marywood as a sign language teacher in the fall of 2020. She received her Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and Special Education and later her Master’s degree in Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing from Bloomsburg University. She worked at The Scranton School for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Children for 5 years. Currently, she does grading for VLN Cyber School and helps with the Waverly Community Center’s CommKids program.
The best part of her position at Marywood is being able to work with students and have the opportunity to introduce them to a new language and culture.
