Dr. Blondek is a pediatrician in the greater Scranton, Pennsylvania area. He earned his Bachelor's degree from Rutgers University and a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Blondek earned his Medical Doctor degree from Spartan Health Science University. He completed his internship and pediatric residency at Monmouth Medical Center in New Jersey. Dr. Blondek was awarded the Martin Quirk, M.D. Award for "Distinguished Service During the Pediatric Residency Training Period" at Monmouth Medical Center.
Dr. Blondek is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Blondek has extensive experience teaching in medical education. He has served as the Medical Director at Marywood PA Program for over 10 years. He teaches Pediatrics I and II in the didactic year, and he precepts up to 20 students per year in his Pediatrics practice. He has taught the Pediatric Advanced Life Support course many times, he has instructed podiatric students at Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine, and he has been a guest lecturer locally and nationally at medical conferences.
