As we celebrate the triumphant conclusion of EMPOWER: The Campaign for Marywood, we eagerly look ahead to the next chapter in our journey. Your ongoing support remains crucial as we continue to enhance Marywood's facilities and academic offerings. Plans are underway to update the equipment in the Lynett-Haggerty Fitness Center, ensuring our students have access to the latest technology for their health and well-being. Additionally, Marywood is committed to supporting the School of Business and Global Innovation and the School of Architecture. By repurposing space in the Shields Center for Visual Arts, we aim to create state-of-the-art learning environments that foster collaboration between business, architecture, aviation management, and thanks to EMPOWER, our newly introduced construction management program.
Marywood’s Campaign Steering Committee was the guiding force behind the campaign. We are deeply grateful for the invaluable contributions and tireless dedication of our Committee members, who were instrumental in propelling Marywood forward.
The Oct. 9 event will recognize the Sordoni Family by naming the Sordoni Construction Management Program in honor of their generosity in support of the first and only four-year construction management program in Northeastern Pennsylvania.
Marywood continues to offer the “Best Value” among Northeast Pennsylvania universities, according to the 2025 U.S. News & World Report’s Best Colleges ranking.
